"Dr Rich is excellent and the service has met my expectations! Highly recommended! The store part staff is also doing their service very well, but I wish the store carried Ray-ban. Originally they discredit my Wayfarer that is made in Italy as made in China, but the Canada Goose frame they upsell me IS made in China. Getting the new frame is fine with me because I didn't have a decent spare but I wish they didnt had to upsell me that way. I wished for Rayban because I have accessories already for it like clip ons etc. This new Canada Goose frames seem to make me need to find custom clip ons due to its unusual enormous frame size."

How long does an eye exam take?

Plan for 45-60 minutes for a comprehensive exam. If you’re getting dilated, allow an extra 30 minutes for the drops to take effect.

Will my eyes be dilated?

For most adults, yes dilation allows Dr. Rich to see the full retina. You’ll receive disposable sunglasses and your vision may be blurry for 2-4 hours.

Can I drive after my exam?

If you’re dilated, we recommend having someone drive you or using Uber/Lyft. Your near vision will be blurry temporarily.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

What should I bring to my appointment?

Current eyeglasses and/or contact lenses, insurance cards (vision and medical), list of current medications, and sunglasses (if you’ll be dilated).
