Jeff Rich learned that eye care isn't just a profession it's a calling. It's about seeing people clearly, literally and figuratively. Understanding their needs. Solving problems others might give up on.
The 1980s
Planting Roots in the
Marina District
When Dr. Rich opened his optometry practice in San Francisco’s Marina District in the 1980s, the neighborhood was evolving into the sophisticated community it is today. He saw an opportunity to bring something different to the area: a practice that combined clinical excellence with
high-fashion eyewear curation.
Over 40+ years, Dr. Rich has become woven into the fabric of Marina District and Cow Hollow. He’s fitted three generations of the same families with glasses. He’s helped teenagers see clearly for their first driving test. He’s diagnosed serious eye conditions early, potentially saving vision. He’s become not just “the eye doctor down the street” he’s become THE eye doctor neighbors recommend to their friends.
