City Optix is an optometry practice first. Dr. Jeffrey S. Rich, O.D. examines, diagnoses, and treats eye conditions, and the eyewear boutique sits alongside that clinical work, not in place of it.
City Optix has served the Marina District since 1986. In 2024, San Francisco designated the practice a Legacy Business, recognizing that history.
City Optix isn't a chain store. Dr. Rich knows patients by name and knows their prescription history.
The boutique carries a hand-curated collection of luxury and independent designer brands, including Chanel, Cartier, Tom Ford, Anne et Valentin, Garrett Leight, and Dita. Frames are chosen one brand at a time.
